Resumen
catalysts Fe@carbon nanotubes (Fe@NTC) obtained via chemical deposition of NTC with CH4 on mixed oxides of Fe-Mg-Al were evaluated in the oxidation Fenton of amoxicillin in solution aqueous (AA). For the synthesis of these catalysts, initial mixed oxides were synthesized by the method of microwave-assisted self-combustion with variable Fe / Al ratios and subsequently the growth of NTCs at 700 ° C by the chemical deposition method. The catalysts were characterized by different techniques that allowed to determine the real Fe / Al relationships of each catalyst, the reducibility of Fe, the size of the partition and the morphology of the catalysts. The Catalytic evaluation was carried out following a factorial design 33
with variable center points They were catalyst mass, Fe / Al ratio and H2O2 concentration. Under the conditions evaluated, H2O2 without catalyst was able to convert 100% of AA, however, with the catalysts the mineralization was markedly increased. The best results were for the catalyst with relation Fe / Al = 2 with a 100% conversion and a mineralization between 63 and 67% of which was independent of the H2O2 concentration.
