Resumen
The central issue addressed in this research is related to the Socha stream and its discontinuity problems, leading to stagnation points due to deficiencies in its design and location. These deficiencies result from a lack of knowledge among the community or individuals involved in its construction, which has caused recurrent flooding and the fragmentation of water bodies, negatively impacting ecosystems and local communities. This project focuses on the geomorphological and hydrological analysis of the Socha stream, following current regulations. It has been identified that the current situation of the stream does not meet the necessary topographic specifications for proper drainage. Therefore, it is essential to develop detailed engineering designs for the modification of the stream. Additionally, efforts are being made to establish actions to reduce the risks of both natural and human-induced floods, prioritizing the recovery of the stream's banks and morphology. The project will contribute to the conservation of the natural environment and the sustainable development of the region.
