Informe de pasantía importancia de la historia colonial en la formación de la identidad nacional

Abstract

The research focuses on the realization of an internship at the Colonial Museum, promoting a deeper thinking of the cultural and social context in visitors, it is a joint work with historians and educator of the undergraduate degree in social sciences of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, it is intended an approach to other training spaces, proposing as an objective to support the development of activities, historical, cultural and educational activities of the colonial museum of Bogotá, giving the importance of colonial history in the formation of national identity, promoting a critical reflection among visitors about their cultural and social identity. Methodologically, a qualitative approach was used, where guided visits to the museum were conducted, merged with observation, interviews and content analysis, in conclusion, museums play a crucial role in offering a space where one can explore and reflect on history. The Colonial Museum, in particular, presents itself as a valuable resource for visitors, who are in a stage of critical formation and searching for their place in society.
