Resumen
The following document contains the development of a teaching unit on the topic: Balancing chemical equations, which seeks, through a series of activities, to analyze the influence of age on the teaching of the aforementioned topic. To do this, the initial teaching unit is made up of 4 sessions of 4 hours each taking into account each of the methods: trial, algebraic, redox and electron ion method.
From the application of this teaching unit, different aspects are analyzed that allow us to find the main problems that arise in students and how age influences each of these, thus, from this, we finally seek to create a teaching unit 2, which adjusts to each of the problems encountered.
It is important to highlight that during the content of this document, it can be seen that people who are in the stage of adulthood and older adulthood have much more difficulties in understanding the topic and therefore, they must be more broken down, implying that the time needed to be able to fully address it, be much longer than the one proposed in didactic unit 1. Finally, it is important to clarify that the activities present in didactic unit 2 serve as a complement to didactic unit 1, that is, if you want to apply the didactic unit in a group of students, You must begin to take into account teaching unit 2, which allows you to avoid making the same mistakes. already found and mentioned in the document and finally finish with the activities proposed by teaching unit 1 to analyze the level of understanding by each of the students.
