Organización de la información correspondiente a la red de nivelación nacional en el GIT de geodesia del IGAC

Abstract

During the period between august 19th and November the 13th of 2017, was developed a practical and theoretical exercise, intended to organize information from the altimetry national network for the internal working group –GIT – of geodesy at the “Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi IGAC-. As a result of this work, a digital format was obtained from the 10 lines altimetry extracts whose files were analog, as well as the transcription to digital of two books with information of elevation points coming from different lines of altimetry. All this information was gathered from data of the 1951- 1999 altimetry period. For a second instance, through the construction of a macro, we obtained the structuring of the altimetry extracts of 4 circuits of the network, these lines of altimetry were intended to make up each circuit to be calculated. Simultaneously, with the same activity, the Geographical Data Base –GDB- from tha National Altimetry Network, was structured along with another classmate. For this purpose a Python program was designed to energize the work, which was helpful to create and include t the GDB of 6 shapes of line type, and 6 shapes of point type, they represent the direction that follows an specific altimetry line and the geodesic points to make up a line or altimetry circuit .The last information corresponds to data of altimetry gathered from 2000 to these days.
