Abstract

The report of the developed procedure to diagnose the points which presents visual pollution in the University National of Colombia, Bogotá. As a starting point was revised the regulations applicable to the subject of visual outdoor advertising, in the Capital District of Bogotá and the requirements stipulated by the district secretariat of environment - SDA, is the environmental authority responsible for the evaluation, control and monitor visual outdoor advertising in the city, with this support database and based on photographic evidence, which contain all the information found in the course of this activity; as next step was carried out inspection of each of the buildings in the Campus of the National University of Colombia in Bogotá, both inside and outside; obtaining a photographic record taken as evidence of the presence of visual pollution, which was subsequently analyzed and evaluated in the above mentioned databases; achieving purpose the corresponding diagnosis which reveals the buildings and areas to prioritize in the control of visual pollution by OGA (Office of environmental management) of the University National of Colombia in Bogota.
