Resumen
The Doña Juana sanitary landfill located between the towns of Usme and Ciudad Bolívar, and which the Bogotá mayor's office designated as the place for the final disposal of urban solid waste in the city in 1988, today presents a considerable accumulation of waste. Alto receiving around 6,800 tons per day that are not little used. Throughout history, the landfill has seen three major accidents that have generated bad odors and quite high environmental damage, managing to affect the populations near the RSDJ, affecting the health and crops of the inhabitants. It is because of the above that the need arises to generate a sustainable proposal to avoid the supersaturation and expansion of the RSDJ, that is why the transformation of MSW into fuel for the generation of electric energy is proposed as an alternative, that is why the study of the Possible technologies that can provide a solution by converting waste into electrical energy, both for its operation and for offering as a service from the year 2022, reducing the tons of waste that enter the landfill. This energy would be generated through principles of utilization of MSW such as biodigestion or thermoelectric energy and through design obtain a solution from an electric power plant that can meet the needs of families near the landfill that do not have with an electricity service, seeking to minimize environmental risks and for Doña Juana to be able to amend the historical debt that according to (Mahecha Bustos, 2018) she has with the most vulnerable sectors in the southern sector of Bogotá.
