Resumen
Letters that release, was a project that allowed us to show how creative writing can be used as a genealogic therapeutic process. This, by providing spaces to participants to tell their family stories in a free and relaxed way. Through this exercise, participants identified and understood how their ancestors left them a life path, which they were required to understand in a respectful and lovely way without any judgment. In this therapeutic process, participants made a life portrait through creative texts, paintings, and drawings. The above, allowed them to identify hard feelings they had regarding parental childhood neglect which have influenced directly or not their world perspectives as well as their interpersonal relationships and how they have assumed their own lives. The expected outcome was a long tale; in this, they were required to tell how they can start a tool acquisition process in which taking advantage of their experiences, they can make up new ideas to enrich their life projects.
