Resumen
This paper shows the design of an ecological trail, as a pedagogical strategy for the recognition and conservation of the natural heritage of the rural area of Usme, this was done based mainly on the contributions provided by the local communit, Methodologically, the document with a focus on descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, using methodological instruments such as surveys, field visits and identification of specie, For this purpose, interviews were done and meetings with the habitants of the area, with which it was sought to recognize the knowledge and highlight the main environmental problems of the town. The transect of an ecological trail was established within an area of environmental importance for the rural area of the town of Usme, which has an approximate distance of 2.75 kilometers, includes stops for the realization of recreational activities focused on environmental education and the taking of photographs by the habitants and the visitors, being a tool for the strengthening of the learning and providing recognition of the natural patrimony of the rural zone of Usme. As a conclusion of this research work, the theoretical value and practical utility of the path was recognized, since it was based on the importance of the recognition of the territory as a strategy for the conservation and protection of both. As final product, an illustrated catalog was designed to show the flora and artropofauna present in the ecological path for the recognition and conservation of the natural heritage of the rural area of Usme.
