Resumen
The central theme of this degree work is radio and its convergence to become a digital medium, which occurred due to socio-cultural changes that led to the loss of the initial meaning of traditional radio which was to inform, educate and entertain. There is currently no fully digital radio in Colombia, as the equipment for its complete technological convergence is quite expensive, so there is no viable budget to favor the changes needed for an updated radio; This has led some users to listen to international radios losing the positioning that Colombian radio had and preventing it from competing against other modern radios. It is important to clarify that, although Colombia is a third-world country radio in general engages with the new tools and uses them for its benefit by staying afloat on new technological trends, that is, it does not stand out but does not disappear. In this sense, in order to achieve better results, the conclusions were obtained from the internship modality in the radio section Voices and Becoming of the university radio LAUD. In which it was determined the use of theoretical and digital tools to highlight the content of the new radio, such as the use of social networks to provide brief information about the central theme of each section; pre-recorded before broadcasting a programme to improve transmission and sound quality; It is important to clarify that, despite the fact that Colombia is a third world country, radio in general engages with the new tools and uses them for its benefit by staying afloat on the new ones ; the presentation of music that contained a background more than purely entertainment; and the use of images to attract the attention of listeners with visual reinforcement. With this work of degree it was expected to raise new ideas that would drive the section of shabby Voices and Becoming to have greater recognition from digital instruments that were at hand, but more effort should be invested in the general structure of the same. Also, it was expected to present how an analogous traditional medium has managed to stay above other traditional media such as the press. It is important to clarify that, although Finally, it is concluded that the program Voices and Becoming should rely more on the use of social networks to expand the network of listeners and that this is a means not only of dissemination, but to share ideas and opinions that in turn could be improved with the digital tools that support it to produce, edit and distribute content.
