Resumen
The study presents a strategy to enhance the design and management of packaging for producers affiliated with R&R KELAB S.A.S., aiming to reduce the environmental impact of traditional plastics within the framework of the circular economy and extended producer responsibility. A baseline analysis identified the predominant use of PET, polyethylene, and polypropylene, leading to recommendations of sustainable alternatives such as PLA, BIO-PE, PHA, and recycled paper or cardboard. Drawing on best practices from companies like Colgate-Palmolive and Oral-B, the project proposed an environmental awareness plan and a digital platform (Waste Store) to promote material reuse and circularity. Results show that environmental education, digital innovation, and sustainable materials effectively improve eco-friendly practices. The study recommends continued research, pilot implementation, partnerships, and the development of sustainability indicators for ongoing improvement.
