Resumen
Learning to read is one of the most important events in a child's school career. Unfortunately, many children experience difficulties in the early stages of learning to read that become barriers to later reading and learning. Superfon is presented as a game-based learning strategy that seeks to promote phonemic awareness levels in students from 7 to 9 years of age who are developing their reading-writing process. This degree project is the result of an investigation carried out with a mixed approach with an explanatory sequential design, developed under the ADDIE model that includes characteristic elements of virtual learning environments. During the development of the project, the first grade students had several work sessions where they interacted with the EVA Superfon in its practice, game and evaluation elements, yielding very positive results in the development of phonemic awareness skills described as follows: identification of initial and final sounds, blending and omission of phonemes and phonemic manipulation.
