Resumen
In Colombia, higher education institutions voluntarily include within their purposes and objectives the highest quality requirements, these are established by the National Accreditation System, which is also the guarantor of compliance. Obeying this purpose, the Francisco José de Caldas District University in its Curricular Project of Environmental Administration, promotes the use of tools that allow focusing and addressing specific issues. The present work presents as a tool the performance analysis, taking as an object of study some of the characteristics and aspects related to the teaching staff, the analysis of variables such as the weighting in the fulfillment of the requirements in subjects such as training, production, research, etc. As well as the level of teacher satisfaction in relation to professional development, they allow to collect the necessary information for the formulation of objectives and in the fulfillment of these indicators. This through the reflection of the educational practice oriented to be a formative, motivating and guiding process that promotes the teaching work as fundamental, determining and therefore a priority
