Resumen
Context: Currently the control of instruments with their respective measurements is digital as they are vital for their development. What has allowed a high development of the industry facilitating the work of the people, due to its ease of use, streamlines the work and comfort allowing the interconnection between them. Method: This paper presents the implementation of a data acquisition interface between the Pelton Edibon turbine and the NI USB 6211 data acquisition card through LabVIEW. It starts by reviewing the Pelton Edibon turbine operation manuals and the acquisition of data NI USB 6211, finding the characteristics of the equipment. Subsequently the characterization of the sensors with their respective transfer function is performed. Finally, the design of the structure and the development of the interface between the turbine and data acquisition card is performed. Results: A data acquisition interface was implemented between the Pelton Edibon turbine and the NI USB 6211 data acquisition card via LabVIEW, available in the civil and electrical laboratory of the Francisco José de Caldas District University technological headquarters. Where the data collection form of the Pelton Edibon turbine was updated, as previously it had an analog measurement take. In addition, an operating manual containing the safe connection form is presented to avoid possible damage to the equipment, as well as simple and didactic example practices. Conclusions: The acquisition, presentation and reporting of data in an automatic way, allow for a more thorough analysis and interpretation of the results obtained during laboratory practices. The errors obtained in the developed interface were 1.879% for Pressure, 5.427% for Speed, 6.095% for Torque and 4.055% for Flow.
