Resumen
The present work evaluated the activity larvicida to the extracts in ether of oil of Allium sativum (garlic) and Annona muricata (guanábana) on larvas of Aedes aegypti in laborator conditions. In this study larvas of the IVth were in use stadium Aedes aegypti, extracts were prepared in cold using as solvent ether of oil. The extract of Annona muricata achieved a mortality of 97 % in a concentration of 500 ppm in a period of 48 hours and in the extract of Allium sativum I manage to reach a mortality of 85 % in a concentration of 2000 ppm in a period of 48 hours. In the treatments of 50 and 100 ppm with Annona muricata and with concentrations of 200,300, 400 and 800 ppm in Allium sativum, they did not reach 50 % of the mortality therefore the lethal times 50 and 90 for these treatments were not. Nevertheless, in concentrations of 400 and 500 ppm of Annona muricata it was achieved to reach the lethal times 50 and 90 in a period of 48 hours, on the other hand in no treatment with Allium sativum it was achieved to reach the lethal time 90, for this there was in use the mathematical method of linear and like that regression to obtain this lethal time that is in a period of 51 hours. One determined by means of the lethal doses to 50 and 90 % and the lethal times to 50 and 90 that the most efficient and effective extract is that of Annona muricata.
