Resumen
The current environmental regulations in Colombia related to the presentation of Environmental Impact Studies (EIA) for exploratory drilling of hydrocarbons, establish that instruments for the collection of primary information from the socio-economic and cultural environment must be developed, which allow to correctly characterize the potential impacts to be generated in the communities due to the execution of hydrocarbon exploratory drilling projects; This research evaluates the efficiency to collect primary information from the village records, an instrument designed and applied for this purpose in the EIA. The unit files applied in the EIAs submitted to the National Environmental Licensing Authority (ANLA) in 2018 for the region of the Colombian Orinoquia were taken as an analysis unit, on which a comparative analysis was carried out finding that only one of The three cards evaluated satisfy the requirements of primary information to present the studies in a high percentage.
