Resumen
The main corrective actions carried out at the traffic light intersections in Bogotá are due to voltage variations, the cause of which is that the conventional electric power network is affected by loads connected to it, which negatively impact the voltage signal (V ) and current (I) that provides power to the control automatisms and traffic lights of each traffic light intersection in the city. Some of these traffic light intersections have a voltage transformer that aims to reduce voltages from 230 V to 110 V, the latter being the appropriate voltage that enters the traffic light system. This process of adequacy of tensions generates electrical failures at the intersections in a constant manner, in addition, a significant economic increase is reflected for the city because it requires a large number of corrective measures and the use of an additional transformer. The purpose of this project is to formulate the integration of a photovoltaic energy system at the traffic light intersections of Bogotá that have a 230 V supply voltage.
