Resumen
The regional project Vida Region, is constituted as a regional development and growth proposal with projections to the year 2036 in terms of territorial ordering, which is initially proposed for the municipalities located on the banks of the Bogotá River (Madrid, Facatativá, Funza, Mosquera, Soacha , Cota, Chia, Cajicá and Zipaquirá). This project will support the empowerment of urban land in the different municipalities for a planned and orderly housing construction, modern regional transport infrastructures and the consolidation of articulation mechanisms with Bogota to strengthen regional projects. In order to consolidate this regional integral development project, we must have an updated geographic database that allows us to describe the different spatial objects that form it through three basic characteristics: attributes, location and typology. The attributes represent characteristics of the objects that allow to know what they are, the location represented by the geometry of the object and its spatial location according to a reference system allows to know where the object is and what space it occupies. Finally, the typology defined by means of the conceptual and spatial relations between the objects, allows to improve the semantic interpretation of the context and to establish certain hierarchies of elements through their relationships. (Gutiérrez, 2006) The geographic database of the Vida Vida project will generate the necessary cartography for the elaboration of the plan of territorial ordering of said project (POTRV), which will serve as support for the planning of the municipalities that make up the same, based on strengthening the actions in the medium and long term of the distribution of the population thus generating an environmentally, socially and economically sustainable territory.
