Formulación de un plan de gestión integral de los residuos sólidos para el Colegio Liceo Técnico Microempresarial Feyser Gordillo Rojas

Abstract

This paper presents strategies to carry out the formulation of a comprehensive solid waste management approach in school Colegio Microempresarial Feyser Gordillo Rojas located in the town of Rafael Uribe Uribe in Bogotá. The research was developed from a comprehensive assessment of the current solid waste management plan which served as a reference to raise separation strategies, presentation, storage, use and collection of solid waste generated within the school. In addition to this, they collected records of solid waste generation for the months of May, July and August. An environmental committee was formed with members of the community involved where they reviewed, approved and participated in the activities for the development of the project. Finally, and as a means of socialization of the project, a booklet was developed with issues related to the proper management of solid waste, in order to ensure favorable development of the management plan.
