Degree work report whose purpose is to determine the incidence of the use of a virtual learning environment, with an ABR approach, as a teaching support tool, within an experimental group, to strengthen skillsin solving programming problems in Systems Engineering students. During the research, an xMOOC type EVA, different challenges, structured and semi-structured surveys were designed to carry out an investigation with quantitative and qualitative data. We worked with a control group and an experimental group to validate this incidence of the use of technological tools, as support for teaching, specifically in the development of skills to solve programming problems. To determine the incidence of the environment with the ABR approach, measurements were made using pre-test and post-test instruments and the results were validated for a statistical comparison, additional qualitative measurement was made with the group exposed to the virtual learning environment.
