In general Agriculture, has been around since the earliest human settlements, why is that plant production is not alien to any place, if certain conditions have a; considering that 60% of the world population lives in cities, it is not surprising that within and around the urban perimeter processes of the so-called urban and peri-urban agriculture are given, seeking the use of techniques for the production and distribution of food plant , medicinal or ornamental, taking advantage of local resources available as organic waste, water, etc. (Vega & Vázquez, 2005), so as to contribute to meeting the food needs of local communities. For this work internship, a significant sample of 25 orchards have processes of urban agriculture (UA) and accompanied by the Bogota Botanical Garden (JBB) was chosen;They describe the aspects considered relevant to each of them. These orchards were selected as well as receiving technical advice and technical and social support by the JBB, they were given an adaptation and equipment. For the description of orchards taken into account the case study methodology; They were used as tools format technical diagnosis and harvest formats provided by the Bogota Botanical Garden (JBB), along with perceptions of some of the leaders and project participants. In order to improve the practices of AU made by the working groups, the JBB is constantly exploring the successes and failures that occur in orchards where monitoring of the processes of each of the gardens takes, is thus, the present document, which a balance is made, allows the institution to continue with data collection, to have information to enable it to evaluate and improve their actions and perform various analyzes of the effectiveness, impact, weaknesses and difficulties that may have the AU in the study population.
