Resumen
This document describes the internship project carried out, in which phase 4 of a simulation tool applied to industrial processes and based on simulation of discrete events is developed, which is already done up to phase 3. This tool allows obtain a reliability analysis of costs and production of said processes through the event programming paradigm. The foregoing is done in order to solve different obstacles presented by the company Knar S.A.S. to perform in the field of engineering consulting, through the use of commercial software tools that have great limitations of flexibility and speed of execution. The task carried out in the development of this phase, is part of the simulation of discrete events of industrial processes of medium complexity, and its design starts from the investigation of related theories and the contextualization of the work previously done. Through an established work plan, the gradual construction of the simulation tool that meets the objectives established for phase 4 of the project is sought. These objectives include obtaining performance results from industrial processes that allow diagnoses and suggest changes in their treatment to improve their performance. The development of this internship, in addition to allowing to establish a connection between the work environment and the academic, allows applying skills acquired throughout the process of undergraduate training to industrial contexts, considering the impact that these developments have on their application in real problems. , through the commercialization of projects in which engineering plays an important role.
