Levantamiento de la Base de datos nacional de puntos de fotocontrol del Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi

Abstract

This paper explains in detail the project that was carried out at IGAC in the Sub-Directorate of Geography and Cartography. The methodology used in the project began with the collection of inputs (technical reports) for proper processing. A total of four (4) sources were used, all of which were of great importance for the correct development and validation of the work; from the validation, the correct purification of the photocontrol points is sought so that in future investigations that need this information, a database can be consolidated. At the end of the project the result of the database is explained showing a density map based on the amount of photocontrol points in the whole country; also the need to continue enriching this project for future uses of any type of survey.
