Resumen
Based on the bibliographic review of the existing Regulations, the antecedents and the technical investigations about the Use of Modified Asphalt Mixtures, the study of the IDU Contract 1386 of 2017 is carried out, which aims to “Execute at unit prices and an exhaustible amount, the activities necessary for the execution of conservation works of the arterial trunk road network and road network, which supports the routes of the integrated public transport system SITP, in the city of Bogotá DC Group 1 ”, in order to establish the viability of the substitution of a conventional Asphalt Mix, for a Modified one in Transmilenio stations, loading needs and operating dynamics require special characteristics from the materials used in its construction. This contains an analysis of the substitution made in the IDU Contract 1386 of 2017 through a comparison of the mechanical properties of a conventional MD-20 mixture and a modified MS-20 mixture with Aramid and Polyolefin fibers, an analysis of its dynamic behavior and a comparison of the Cost vs Useful Life relationship.
