Resumen
This research revolves around the communication-education context, in a way that its main purpose was to redefine the concept to the musical genre of "La Salsa" as a cultural phenomenon, and this way, recognize those subjects inmerse in the different cultural mutations of this genre, taking into account that the exploration of this genre within itself and its interaction with other genres that represent it, make it become part of a collectivity. In order to achieve this, the following categories are taken as theoretical references: cultural phenomenon, cultural industries, cultural bastardization, cultural hybrids, esthetic happenings and subjectivity. An analysis was made with the data collected of the cultural hybrids of this genre in the muniple of Soacha, through a qualitative emphasis and an etnographic design and hermeneutic exercise of the different dance and sound expressions of different social groups. Furthermore, the condensation of the scenarios took place in the Festival "Soacha for salsa", where dancers, musicians and spectators were present to embrace salsa. There is an explicit need to understand the new dynamics in traditional communities despite the fact that globalized cultural industries tend to be old fashioned and forgotten. Salsa is still a musical and dance exercise after 20 years, and it continues to strengthen our culture and keep it alive.
