Resumen
As we already know, in many towns and villages in Colombia there is no implementation of an adequate system of aqueduct and sewage networks, this is the case of the town of Sumapaz, which is located in the city of Bogotá. In this town there is a large percentage of inhabitants who do not have these supply and treatment systems, emphasizing the paths in this sector, although it is true, this is one of the towns that has more reservoirs such as the Chisacá and the Regadera and also the Laguna of the Tunjos, also has 4 treatment plants, Laguna, El Dorado, Yomasa and Vitelma, even with this number of networks, the sector is faced with the need to collect water from nearby rivers, to be able to supply the consumption of drinking water or for domestic use. The objective of this project is the implementation, field data collection and technical evaluation of a rainwater harvesting system. The exploitable potential of this system will be evaluated thanks to the fact that this locality is located in a sector with a lot of rainfall and does not have polluted air, responding to the scarcity and the impossibility of accessing water.
