Resumen
The present work talks about to the hydrographic river Teusacá located in the department of Cundinamarca. Its purpose was to carry out a multi-temporal analysis associating the parameters of the water quality of the San Rafael reservoir and the changes that occurred in the coverage of the soil. This work was developed during the years 2008 and 2015 in San Rafael reservoir and use the practice of the analysis of time series to find the behavior of parameters like the turbidity, color, conductivity, pH, alkalinity, hardness of the water, chlorides, coliforms, E-coli, among others in the study time. On the other hand, this work made use of images provided by the Google Earth Pro platform and through the ArcGis software the different coverage of the land surface was identified, this is how four (4) levels are found according to the Land Cover Corine methodology. The qualitative information of the images was transformed into quantitative information to perform analyzes in relation to water quality parameters over time. In addition, water quality was evaluated with resolution 2115 of 2007 (issued by MPS and MAVDT), where the Water Quality Risk Index is found and finally compared with the results of the coverage. The research carried out allows conclude the importance of an adequate ordering of the territory, reiterating that the water resource should be the central role of civil society and the landscape, in order to avoid conflicts over the use of water. Corrective and preventive measures must be taken to reduce the risk of water resources actions, the risk to public health and the possible cost overruns that can be applied to contaminated water.
