Abstract

This report has the purpose of communicating the processes that were carried out during the development of the work in the internship modality, which were carried out in the Instituto Geográfico Agustín Codazzi - IGAC. This entity requested the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, students of last semester to support the administration of the projects located in the GIT of Geodesic Documentary Management, because the organization of the information was urgent, as it is the case of the ghost documents which were registered in the inventory of the warehouse, but at the moment of carrying out a revision it was discovered that these projects were disappeared.To correct these deficiencies, the student together with the entity, were responsible for the creation and implementation of a methodology that would help in the analysis, compilation and structuring of information from the various projects, for the implementation of a Document Retention Table -TRD, this with the aim of creating metadata to inventory the files that are inside the warehouse, in order to eliminate any inconsistency between the data obtained and the inventory belonging to the GIT. At the same time, the aim was to compile the old project information for its proper classification and to demonstrate the importance of each one of these works within the institution.
