Resumen
This project determines the economic radius of electrical collection and transmission from of residual agricultural biomass in the non-interconnected zones (ZNI) of Colombia, especially those located in the Pacific, Amazon and Orinoquia regions. Using the portal's geographic information systems (GIS) unique in the Colombian state, the Agustín Codazzi Geographical Institute (IGAC) and the Institute national roads (INVIAS) and the QGIS Software (Geographic Information System of free and open source software) the distances between points of interest by conducting research on the types of roads, roads rivers and the land where the biomass would be transported from the collection site to the place of transformation. Where it was found through the radio application economic maximums for the ZNI, in the municipalities of Murindó in the Pacific region, La Macarena in the Orinoquia region, in Puerto Guzmán and Puerto Nariño belonging to to the Amazon region, finding economically viable radios and in the Most of the applications carried out are able to cover the current and future demand using residual agricultural biomass.
