Resumen
This project investigates the incorporation of comic book creation within 9 to 11 years old children, focusing on its role as a transformative visual tool. The main objective of the study is to explore how this innovative pedagogical tool can enhance language acquisition, engagement, and creativity among young learners. Given current approaches in English language education, the significance of this work comes from its potential to provide a more collaborative and student-centered approach, bridging the gap between traditional teaching methods and contemporary student necessities. Students were introduced to a curriculum that encouraged them to reflect on their English understanding in addition to the creation of a comic. The study's key findings focused on the effectiveness of comics for promoting deeper language comprehension, boosting task-based learning, and emphasizing the role of visual narratives in the learning process. This study contributes considerably to the broad conversation about teaching English as a Second Language by proposing for the use of creative tools that connect with today's learners.
