Resumen
The identification of potential areas of active ecological restoration, for areas greater than 100 ha, is based on the use and analysis of thematic spatial information at the landscape level and under the premises of comparison of different physical-environmental variables, seeking to reduce the total area of Study of less difficult areas in the operational management of processes related to the active recovery of degraded areas. It is for the above, that the variables taken into account for this study are framed in the prioritization of the operational work of active ecological restoration to be developed within the Páramo de Guerrero Complex, managing to reduce the total study area of 43,229 ha (100% ) to 56.16 ha (0.12%), using a methodological combination, which is developed by crossing information between changes in land cover in two periods of time, operational difficulty of the terrain, and the ability to mobilize properties by means of the optimal distance to networks and structures available in the area. This study consists of identifying potential areas for active ecological restoration through the use and analysis of geographic and spatial information of the Páramo de Guerrero Complex.
