Comunidad embera en Bogotá

Abstract

The Embera Community, which for various reasons has had to take refuge in the country's capital, must understand and speak its language again, since it has been losing it by living in a city that only speaks Spanish. This work will serve so that this aboriginal community avoids losing its form of communication, bearing in mind that they must enter into conversations with the white man and all the Spanish-speaking people who live in Bogotá; the way of promoting this work is to seek that journalism denounces the institutional abandonment in which the members of this vulnerable group are kept; it is also necessary to help so that the Mayor's Office provides teachers who teach in the Embera language, since it is being lost and in doing so, its culture and tradition are lost.
