Resumen
This research process seeks to reflect about the bodily formation for performers interested in the scenic folklore, taking as its starting point the experience of the investigator who makes his first approach to the dance from the folklore and then arrives to the curriculum project of Arte Danzario at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas to the line of interpretation with emphasis on contemporary dance. In this search, binding both understandings from concepts that the dancing discipline has conceived during the study of the movement, is accomplished. Something that has made possible to delve into the needs and technical work that requires the interpreter of folk dance in Colombia. The construction of discourse on these practices becomes a bridge between communities and the academic field, from an in-depth study that allows us to look at our movement, our cultural relations and the wealth of the body that remains latent in our danced traditions, being this self-recognition vital to continue enhancing dance in Colombia.
