Resumen
This work focuses on the corona effect and its relationship with the generation of audible noise in power transmission lines in the páramo ecosystem. It highlights the importance of meteorological conditions and geometrical configurations of the lines as the main causes of audible noise. The description of audible noise is a key parameter in the design of power transmission lines, and it has been computationally addressed through the acquisition and analysis of a significant amount of experimental data. However, it is concluded that further research is needed to acquire data and establish a precise relationship between audible noise and the characteristics of the páramo ecosystem. This work strengthens the research lines of the FISINFOR research group and provides insights for future endeavors. Additionally, it demonstrates how the training received in the Bachelor of Science in Physics enables the analysis and description of situations that occur in our daily context, setting a precedent for future investigations in this field.
