Abstract

This work shows the participation of a student as a research assistant through the results and subsequent analysis, evaluation and compliance with the objectives, in the process , which is called the same this document: State building art and theoretical framework as part of development of the research project: Efficiency of Water Consumption in Small Andean Irrigation Systems. The need for student involvement regarding research topics of the university, should be considered as an elementary basis for development and institutional strengthening, that allows the creation of spaces for interaction with teachers who have run the topics to investigate, incorporating them into the subject, just as making shorter the gap between the student and research; what tends in a first step is the generation of critical thinking, based on knowledge acquired during the process.
