Abstract

This investigation is a state of the art that seeks to show the documentary analysis that was made to 14 investigations on parenting guidelines and practices in Colombia during the last decade. The documentary analysis gives evidence of 6 main categories, the concept of parenting guidelines and practices, family, infancy, girl and boy, and playing, in addition to the theoretical references most referenced in terms of studies of parenting guidelines and practices of in Colombia. The research is systematic and qualitative, that made use of heuristics and hermeneutics as a fundamental basis for the analysis of results, using as research instruments the RAES format and the rubric of concepts in the methodological framework. The research is conclusive in affirming the importance of realizing a state of the art as a preliminary antecedent to future ethnographic research in the main topic that is parenting guidelines and practices in Colombia.
