Resumen
Geographic information is the information of an element that is located on the surface of the earth, that is to say, it is the knowledge about what there is or happens in a certain place. The need to obtain such knowledge arises due to the fact that over time the human being has carried out activities on the earth's surface, which are of great importance and therefore it is relevant to know where they are carried out. This information on activities carried out on the land surface and the location of them, is essential to know it because it is the guiding basis for political decision making, strategic planning and actions on the territory, which in turn implies geographic consequences of which must obtain knowledge. (Rodríguez Lloret & Olivella, 2009) Due to the above, in the present project in the form of an internship, a balance and analysis of the sources of digital geographic information was carried out in Colombia, in the land issue in particular, presenting it with a critical approach in relation to the production of said information. with respect to this topic. In this way, it is evident that geographic information is a useful element of collecting, processing, systematizing and analyzing with which one can also construct imaginary of spatial reality. This is why a database was designed and implemented, which contains the sources of geographic information regarding the land issue, which is displayed in a web application, in order that users and the public in general know in detail the characteristics of geographic information such as entities and the type of entities that produce it, the legend or indicator, among other variables that are required to know. In addition, it is important that users know these characteristics of the products with geographic information in an easier way, because with them you can compare the cartographic products belonging to the same sub-theme and referring to similar information and show the different way in which the entities present the information.
