Resumen
The Geographic Web Viewer GEOSES, will serve as a diagnostic for setting Basic Land Management Plan of the Municipality of Sesquilé, Cundinamarca support, constituting a technological resource that will facilitate the display of geo-referenced information of the Municipality, with the aim of contributing to an efficient and timely decision-making by the authorities in the municipal planning system. This project is part of the implementation of the principles, objectives and strategies propounded by the Colombian Spatial Data Infrastructure - ICDE - and aims to establish a system to organize the dissemination of spatial information to support timely, efficient and effective processes planning of the Municipality of Sesquilé. GEOSES be a practical application of the policies of the ICDE on standards, metadata and Web portals. GEOSES allow the display of information for managing the development of the municipality and will tend to build best practices in planning and land use planning, since it will be the raw material for the formulation and implementation of the new Basic Plan of Land Management in the municipality and as for the dissemination of geographic information and analysis of the municipality territory planning purposes. The information available on the system, meanwhile, will be prioritized in order to contribute in the planning process, planning and land management; For this reason, free access functionality via the Internet and display of thematic maps use of urban and rural land with their respective cartographic base (drains and roads). The main objective, and in turn highlight the aspect of GEOSES is that facilitate the development of diagnosis in the planning process allowing the monitoring and evaluation of development plans and land use planning.
