Resumen
Gameplay, song, and tales gather together in a didactic project, which purpose is to bridge the gap between the music from the rural areas of Boyacá and children from the urban setting of Bo-gotá. By engaging with “música carranguera” in a variety of songs, stories, and puppet plays, the project aims for a re-valorization of the cultural legacy of these incredible traditions. The various activities, related to the project, explained in detail in this document, invite audiences to imagine, interact, and participate the culture and the rhythms of the Plateau Cundiboyacence; the same culture and rhythm that informs the fantastic peculiarities of música carranguera. This document explores the various stages in the process, the different products –from original songs to theatri-cal productions–, and analyzes the cultural, social, and pedagogical transcendence of these dy-namics.
