Resumen
The first illustrations of Colombia, were made by Agustin Codazzi who commanded the Corográfica Commission at the time of the New Granada; 27 maps covering over Colombian territory. One of these maps corresponds then called "Provincia de Pamplona" made in 1851, the source of this graduation project and had as main objective the analysis thereof, to obtain a digital file that contained all the information detailed map .The choreographic letter was obtained from the Luis Angel Arango library was a digital high resolution image, through permits filed by the university. Within the analysis can obtain information on the scale in units of current measure distances to a study conducted by Arcgis, a set of recent projections for mapping based on geographical information from Google Earth, compared with symbolism inscribed on the map with symbols currently used for the preparation of plans. As a final result a digital map of the original choreographic letter "Pamplona Province," a KML (Google Earth file) to your current location on the map, and analysis thereof is obtained.
