Resumen
The objective of this research was to identify the conditions and training processes for the development of Spiritual Intelligence in young people in 11th grade from the San José school of the Hermanas Franciscanas de María Auxiliadora, at a communicative and educational level, since the need to review, if the way in which this population is being prepared in matters of a spiritual nature corresponds to the dynamics that today's world requires. In addition to the above, it has been shown that the educational system and the individual, in their last school year give priority to academic and professional issues, passing through a dimension or knowledge that gives us the possibility of taking distance from reality, to wonder about the meaning of life, a form of knowledge that teaches us to critically look at our interior and our context, to lead us to reflect on who we are, what kind of role we play in society and what is our relationship and our role in universe. The research developed was based on a qualitative approach, of an exploratory type, with the educational action research method, with students of the 1104 class. As the main technique, a semi-structured interview was carried out for the diagnosis, then a work plan was implemented, it included 3 activities with their respective analysis in field, journals and category matrices with the data of the information obtained. Some of the results revealed by the study, showed how, within the educational institutions the spiritual intelligence would be increased from the communicative and educational process, strategies as the promotion of knowing themselves, encouraging the ability to ask for transcendental subjects such as life and death, learning to take away from their reality and face the problems from the situations and experiences that in the school are presented, these strategies will provide the pretext for the teacher, whom from his personal and academic knowledge, provoke and enrich the integral formation of the student.
