Creación de material educativo para contribuir a la mitigación del cambio climático a través de la elaboración de eco-ladrillos

Abstract

The present work was framed in the modality of internship in the Botanical Garden of Bogota José Celestino Mutis (JBBJCM), as a District Scientific Research Center, which is responsible for directing and carrying out various processes of integrated management. With the help of this work, a space was provided to raise awareness about the importance of properly managing plastic waste, knowing the impact it has on the environment; therefore, an environmental proposal was developed that promotes the creation of ECO-STONES, which can be donated and used for various social works. This allowed us to give a different use to the plastics used on a daily basis and thus reduce the solid waste that reaches the sites for garbage collection and that have a direct relationship with the gases that produce the greenhouse effect and climate change, together with the purpose of the Educational and Cultural Subdirection, which is to develop a guiding work guided to generate a cultural change that will allow us to build a sustainable, equitable and resilient city.
