Resumen
Belcorp is a beauty products company with three brands Esika, Lbel and Cyzone, which operates under the direct sales model with commercial consultants to permanently adjust its business coverage. It also has a zoning area, which is responsible for geographically representing the commercial coverage of the business in regions, zones, sections and territories at a national level through maps and geographic information systems. The objective of the internship project is to define a new geographic distribution for a specific area of Belcorp's market, based on the implementation of a restructuring model of zones, sections and territories, in turn based on a spatial analysis that evaluates the concentration of consultants and other variables. The result of the restructuring is the creation of a new section and the merger of two others within the study area; maps of the new area are delivered to the company and the personnel in charge, the territories are modified using GIS tools, and the consulting firms are loaded into the company's system with their new sections.
