Resumen
The internship project "Design and implementation of military symbology standardized by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization "NATO" to unify technical parameters in the geospatial intelligence discipline GEOINT of the Colombian National Army", has the disposition to structure a catalog of representation or symbology for the implementation of the same within the area of the Geographic System of the Military Intelligence Brigade No.1 "BRIMI 1", place where a line was carried out to the satisfaction of the internship. This geographic information should be structured and organized taking into account the Army's Fundamental Reference Manual MFRE1-02 Military terms and symbols, standardized by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization "NATO". To fulfill this goal established at the beginning of the internship, take into account the design of the symbology based on the Army's Fundamental Reference Manual MFRE1-02 Military terms and symbols, in order to unify the technical parameters within the military intelligence Once the symbology has been created and treated, it will be implemented within ArcGIS through the style manager, this is as a symbology database, which is created in ArcGIS and can be used at any time, uploading it as a file .style. This was done so that the entire Colombian National Army had access to these symbols so that they could have the same concept at the time of the graph. To finish, you can have a support for that symbology database, for that a representation catalog was created, in which it was specified with the technical file how that symbol was written and also what was the reference within the Fundamental Manual of Army reference MFRE1-02 Military terms and symbols, governed under ISO-19117: 2012 Geographic information - Portrayal.
