Resumen
The present research work describes the results of the phytochemical study carried out on the Active Principles of the barks of the plant species Mimosa tenuiflora and Mimosa pudica (Fabaceae), for this the Active Principles from the barks were obtained by the solid extraction technique- liquid, using reflux equipment; For the chemical characterization of the secondary metabolites present, a Preliminary Phytochemical Analysis (AFP) was carried out, comparing physical properties and data reported in the literature, where the initial presence of secondary alkaloid and tannin metabolites in the Active Principles could be characterized. of Mimosa tenuiflora and Mimosa pudica. The Active Principles obtained were analyzed by using spectroscopic techniques such as FTIR and thermogravimetric, with which it was possible to characterize once again that the active principles are made up of structurally similar secondary metabolites with presumption for the Active Principle of Mimosa tenuiflora that are treated. of secondary metabolites of the alkaloid and tannin type, with tetra substituted rings in 1, 2, 3, 5 and phenolic, in addition to the possible presence of glycoproteins and arabinogalactans. Regarding the Active Principle of Mimosa pudica, the presence of secondary metabolites of the alkaloid and tannin-based flavonoid type, with tri-substituted rings at 1, 2, 3 and the presence of O-glucosidic bonds are presumed.
