Resumen
The main objective of this research project was the documentary and systematic review on the use of Mimosa tenuiflora as an effective treatment in tissue regeneration, which would allow to obtain a classified and organized database from different bibliographic sources. The selection process was worked on in three phases: obtaining 206 initial articles from 2015 to 2019 through different databases: Science Direct, Springer, PubMed Central, SciELO, World Wide Science, NCBI, and Google Schola, the verification of the content and results obtained from each of the documents and the Q1 or Q2 classification given by SRJ: Scimago Journal & Country Rank, obtaining a total of 27 working documents. For the content analysis classification codes and grouping categories were used as data collection tools, allowing the manifest and latent content of the texts to be denoted. As a result, a classification of texts by country and language was obtained, as well as the coding of the segments found and their unification into categories such as tissue, injury and effective treatment, which shows the potential of the plant species Mimosa tenuiflora as a good additive. than in aid of dressings or scaffolds helping tissue regeneration and improving the properties of these materials. It is concluded that there is insufficient evidence that speaks about cytotoxic effects of the Mimosa tenuiflora species for epithelial and bone tissue, in addition to helping in the processes of cell regeneration in chronic wounds and / or wounds as additives of materials that are biocompatible with the human body. It is also recommended to study the secondary metabolites that act in all these regeneration and healing processes.
