Resumen
The Cost-Benefit Analysis methodology is used in Colombia to choose those projects or activities with the greatest economic and financial efficiency. However, it has presented great criticism in the economic valuation of the environment, so the following work aims to present results are the ethical implications of the cost-benefit analysis in the evaluation of environmental projects in Colombia. In Chapter I, an analysis was carried out with a critical perspective of the Cost-Benefit Analysis methodology applied to environmental projects in Colombia, in order to identify the main shortcomings of this methodology. In Chapter II, the main ethical criteria related to the cost-benefit analysis in the viability decisions of environmental projects in Colombia were identified. And finally, in Chapter III the main guidelines are formulated that complement the cost-benefit analysis in the feasibility decisions of environmental projects in Colombia, and thus be able to adequately complement this methodology with the idea that future projects, works or activities, decrease their environmental impacts.
