Resumen
This qualitative research is the result of the inquiry and interpretation of the imaginary meanings about childhood by different adults who take care of kids. Process that involved the participation of different adults (parents, nannies and grandmothers) who converge in the processes of socialization and parenting of the children of the Jardín Infantil Creciendo feliz. Throughout the process, the different ways in which they interact with children emerged by developing, complementing and transforming their imaginary about childhood. To uncover these imaginaries, two instruments were implemented that allowed different narratives to be configured in which it was researched through legein (ways of doing) and teukhein (ways of thinking) the imaginaries instituted and instituting on childhood. These narratives allowed the visibility of intentions in the various interactions of adults with childhood, revealing concrete situations the desire for change in relationships directly focused on their parenting guidelines and practices as a mediation of the adult-child relationship in the family institution, fostering enriched environments for solid personality development. For this reason, this research has significant contributions to studies on children and their development in the family institution as the first agent of socialization.
