Resumen
The following thesis was the result of research developed with students of sixth grade of Gimnasio la alameda school from Soacha municipality, whose objective was identify external representations that students have on school stress, from an qualitative-interpretive methodological process.
The qualitative-interpretive methodological process developed in 9 phases, including four activities designed, validated and subsequently implemented in the classroom, the purpose of which was to characterize external representations from students. The information obtained was organized and systematized in a word processing software and analyzed in MAXQDA 2020 ® based on three categories of analysis nominated from the theoretical investigation.
The analysis of the results allowed us to identify the external symbolic and pictorial representations based on causes, effects and confrontation, as categories that make up the meaning given to school stress by sixth grade students.
