Resumen
Looking forward for the traffic improvement in Bogota, the District Department of Mobility (Secretaria Distrital de Movilidad, SDM) and its technological ally, Bogota’s telecommunications Company (ETB) are proposing the implementation of a Smart Transportation System (SIT) in the city. The main inconveniences to run such implementation are due, in one side, that the District Department of Mobility does not show in detail the necessary requirements for the Project and, on the other side, the design proposed by the ETB involves mainly workers and infrastructure, leaving on the side the intelligent component, which precludes the desired improvement for the city’s traffic. Therefore, while these inconveniences are presented, none of the objectives that the SDM expects for the SIT will be able to be accomplished. With that being said, this draft proposes the design of the Enterprise architecture necessary to achieve the desired purposes which are under the reference frame TOGAF, using specifically the methodology of the Architecture Development Method (ADM), to cover the identified gap between the initial phase and the design, in that way we would be able to obtain the ideal design to resolve the issue that has been identified and also giving an important input to the Project’s execution. This is with the purpose of contributing to a huge Enterprise plan which has importance and affectation to all citizens, as it is on the Smart Transportation System (SIT) for Bogota.
